Had a Plymouth in the '70's, big Fury 3 with HD* kits.
Was noon and my Fury was still on the lift since 0700 as they could not get the oil to stay in.
LOL, 3 hrs for an oil change!
Turned out the HD model (police, taxi) used a different filter and the dealer had none in stock plus their shop manuals were not updated to reflect that.
That big HD Fury also had weird alignment characteristics. It liked to leap over the median on divided highways as it was designed with different alignment specs for left as compared to right wheel.
A sharp alignment guy corrected that issue by duplicating the right side onto the left.
LOL, what finally got me service was the fact that I was an art supply sales rep and I took out some yellow paint and artist brush and painted a small lemon on the trunk.
Within 10 mins I got a call from the zone manager and that really shook up that dealership.
Downside was I had to walk a fair distance to have lunch and lost a half day of productivity.
*wheels were 15" vs 14" and brakes very HD., like 50% more surface.
(My employer forbade power brakes as the CEO's wife had experienced a major accident due to early version power brakes.)
