I got my oil cooler yesterday and will hopefully be doing the install on the weekend, but I have 2 questions.
1-I know some things have reverse threads, are the hoses that are attached to the cooler normal threads (righty tighty, lefty loosey)?
2-do I need to put anything on the threads (teflon) before I put the hoses back on?
Hopefully these questions don't make me sound to mechanically inclined.
Thanks
ED

Depending on the model and serial number of your tractor, there may be 2 hydraulic lines and 2 adapters that are supposed to be changed with the HST oil cooler.

Other than that, all fittings are compression fittings or banjo bolt (face seal).

From the picture posted before, he already has the two rubber hyd lines and the banjo bolts.
All are right hand threads (righty-tighty) and no sealant is needed. When you remove the banjo bolts, you'll see two rubber o-rings on each side of the metal collar on the top part of the hyd lines. One between the cooler and collar and one between the collar and banjo bolt head. Remember to use two wrenches. One on the cooler to hold steady and one on the banjo bolt to tighten. Otherwise, you'll twist the cooler like a pretzel. It doesn't need much force when tightening.
