Kioti 45, Kubota L235
Folks, I'm looking for a suitable substitute of filters for my Kioti DK45. The closest Kioti dealer is many miles away. I have been using standard Ford oil filters (any brand) for over 15 years in my Kubota L235 with no problem. The Kubota is here in Bear, Delaware but the Kioti is up in Lehigh County, Pa at the "tree farm". If I buy parts here in Delaware, I'm happy because there is no sales tax.

You can purchase a NAPA gold 1324 Part Detail same filter also fits the CK 25-35

SunnyJim, Thanks for the speedy reply, I just returned from the local parts store and ordered two Wix 51324 @ $8.00 each. Another parts store provided a PH2811 number for the Champion, STP and DEM brands. As soon as I am near a NAPA I'll pick up a 1324 Gold.
Thanks again!

Curious how buying a $20-30,000 tractor with attachments like a backhoe is NOT supporting the dealer?
Buying local filters from local stores is keeping some of our dollars with the 'local' businesses, instead of sending more $ to S. Korea, isn't it- or am I missing something?!
I don't see many 'deals' being offered by Kioti dealers, unless again, maybe I'm missing something...

Not sure about all auto parts stores, but I don't think too many of them manufacture the filters they sell either. You may want to check the "made in ..." notes on the box.

I don't think I said anything about where the filters were manufactured? But I did ask if buying from local businesses, (that may be run by local folk, might keep some of the $ local). I'm fully aware of where virtually everything today is manufactured, and its not here in the states; whether it is/was the Bosch or Mann oil filters I sold for my foreign auto repair/sales store, or the Gislaved tyres from Sweden, etc., I've been around the filter and parts business for many years.
I still don't see how not buying a Kioti filter from a selling dealer is not supporting the dealer. ALL the work needing to be done under warranty is pretty much guaranteed to go to the dealer, along with all specialized, made by Kioti parts and accessories.
By buying a Kioti am I obligated to bring/send/take all my business to my dealer?

In the interests of full disclosure: I purchased one of MIE's backhoe thumb's from them because I liked it better than other ones available on the market, INCLUDING what my local selling dealer had to offer. However, I did buy a Kioti KB2485 hoe from my selling dealer though, I could just as easily bought a Woods or some other brand.

In fact, when I bought the first of two Kioti tractors from my selling dealer, both in less than a year's time frame, I did not even look at any comparable tractor manufacturer.
Turns out I'd never heard of a Kioti and thought my selling dealer was a Kubota dealer when I drove into his lot. When I drove out I had purchased a DK-35se/hst brand new with a KIOTI backhoe. I went back and bought my as yet unused box-blade off his lot and a pallet fork set too.

What I don't like is anyone implying that if I or some other tractor owner doesn't buy every little thing, like an oil filter, from our selling dealer, then we are being disloyal to our dealer. I doubt very much Kioti makes their own filters, and even if they do, there are LOTS of other quality brands out there that will do just as good a job.

You might want to read what I've said above instead of just reacting to what you think I'm doing. And you can do what you want, and buy from whom you choose to buy from, as can I. What you can't do is convince me that my buying oil filters from where ever I choose is going to adversely affect my dealer; and that in doing so I am not being supportive of him/them. If buying filters is what the dealer's need every single one of us owner's to do every time we change our oil then the dealers are in a place where they are beyond anyone's help and filters is not going to make a difference one way or the other. Do you buy your engine oil from your dealer too?! I doubt it.

At your suggestion I re-read your post:

and you're right there is no implication; there is however an assumption that as shown in red above,..."we give the dealer NO SUPPORT.How in heck will they stay in business if we do not support them?"

So where do you get to be the decider about what 'we' the Kioti tractor buying customers do or do not do in support of our dealers?! How would you know whether 'we' support them in the first place? Your assumption is astounding and not likely based on any facts whatsoever.

To Chiefbuck,
Sorry to have inadvertently hijacked your thread, (along with others) but I cannot let insults to the Kioti owner's go without rebuttal.
