Ok I have a Yanmar 2000 and was looking for oil filters. I noticed on Hoyes Tractor web site that it states
"Shop notes:
There is much more to a filter than thread size. We see a lot of customers come in with engine problems caused by the wrong filter. Did you know that one of the common filters that people are using has a filter material that is too fine & almost all of the oil bleeds through the bypass valve - NOT GETTING FILTERED AT ALL!!" Are they the only place with the "right" filters?
Anyone know what this "common filter" is that they are speaking of or any filters to NOT use? Also does anybody have the Wix oil/air filter number for a 2000?
