I have a massey oil filter 72201898, does anybody know what other filter you can get. Such as fram.etc.

I ran a Luber Finer on our 1523, which is the same oil filter for your 1423.

Not sure about your tractor model, but I'd check NAPA. They have filters for my 1010. And the NAPA Gold filter is made by Wix, so you can count on it. I personally would never put a Fram oil filter on anything, but that's my personal opinion from reading and seeing pics of the way the Fram is made. Some people swear by them.
