my manual says sae 10w40 API Certification CC or CD

I find alot of oil that's c something or nuther but not cc or cd?????

You can use CC or CD or anything higher, i.e. CE, CF etc.
As long as you looking at DIESEL oil.

Well, that's because it doesn't say that. But requirements are always the minimum. If you go higher, you're in good territory!
I had checked this out a long time ago with a Kioti engineer.
