bought rotella 15 40 at wally world for 11 dollars a gallon. you might just find that the dealer might be the best place to buy filters. i think wix has a filter finder function on thier web site and you can buy them at napa.

The oil dipstick in my 2800 has two holes in it. Are those the low and high oil marks? The manual suggests that there should be a hashed area for low / high, but that doesn't exist.
I believe the holes must be the mark based since the amount of oil that I put in the tractor matches up with the 5.7L stated in the manual.

Sorry, I should been a bit clearer, the oil has been changed previously by the shop, this was my first attempt at personally doing it
One other note for those tackling the service for the first time, don't forget to pick up an air filter and kerosene (for cleaning the fuel filter and fuel filter bowl).
