Oil Instead of Grease for PTO Shaft

WOW! Some of you are real maintenance freaks. Nothing wrong with taking care of stuff but taking PTO shafts apart after every use?

I pull mine apart and regrease it at the beginning of the season and forget about it.

I do try to grease my mower wheels at least every other time.

On open surfaces like the PTO stub or linkage balls on the 3 point I use a dry moly.

Well, decades of spraying mine with wd40 or the like, every time I put it on and then forgetting it, works for me... I've never had a problem of any kind doing it this way.

I just got sick of the grease build up and all the dirt it and oil attracts!!
