OIL prices falling!!

The diesel prices have dropped a bit but the world is upside down.

I check prices at three different stations but buy at one. One station I NEVER visit is always the highest. Usually by at least 5 cents but as much as 15. The other station is usually lowest. The station I buy from is usually at the low price or maybe 5 cents above the low price.

I buy at the one station because it is easier to get into and they do not play games with the pump like the cheaper station. :D The owners also WORK at the station I go too and they are nice people unlike the other station. There is a fourth station I used to buy from but I limit my purchases to tractor fuel from him. The play games with the amount of fuel I can buy on a credit card, are generally more expensive, have had quite a few problems with the pumps and the service can be rude.

The upside down comment is that the station I go to had diesel fuel for $4.05, the station that is usually the lowest was at $3.99 and the station that is ALWAYS highest was $3.95.:confused2:

I failed to notice the diesel prices, but I filled my wife's car are Circle K for $3.459 for regular Saturday. The other stations in the area were 2 to 4 cents a gallon higher.

Well hang on to your hat QE3 is coming and will devalue the dollar more and ensure that gas, diesel, and oil prices will go up again. When you dollar is worth less it buys less, its really simple.

Day before yesterday (8/10/2011) I filled my little truck with gas at $3.439. A little later in the day, I noticed they had lowered the price to $3.319. My usual luck. But today I filled my wife's car at $3.259. That's the lowest price I've paid since February; 2/21/2011 in fact. But other stations in the area this morning were $3.279 and $3.299.

Don't read too much into the oil prices dropping, you are not going to come out ahead.

Gas was down to 3.50 on Wednesday. Price is back up to 3.75. Headed to 3.80. Looks like lower it down south. Raise it up north.:confused:

Yep. A month or two ago there were reports and that there was an excess supply of gasoling. Prices here never changed.

Did drop yesterd by 4 whole pennies. $3.77 today. We are one of the highest taxed gas states in teh nation.

During the Memorial day holiday I believe it was or the 4th of July or maybe both that the gas didn't go up during the holiday but instead went down? That was something that I noticed kind of off handed because I knew what it was. Everybody has their favorite news net work but I do a little adding up of what is happening with what they are spinning to me from all sides to help form my opinions. The price not going through the roof during the holiday is the first time in decades that it hasn't happened, ask yourself why? Don't let someone else tell you why figure it out on your own. Lay all preconceived notions aside because it might influence you into getting a biased opinion and this is the wrong time for that.

Take a look at this chart. I have been watching for a long time and never seen the gas line run above crude. The crude went up a little yesterday and gas shot right up. By the chart the other day gas should of been under $3.00.
