oil pump replacement

I have a 57 ford powermaster 861 172ci that i am replacing oil pump, Do i need to remove distributor to replace the pump, any tips would be appreciated Thankyou Mark

I can't help you as i don't know but do you have a shop manual? I believe they sell them on Yesterdays tractor, it would be handy to have as you tackle this project.

Soundguy will probably chime in, he is the expert on Ford tractors.
