Have you tried spraying the stain with aerosol parts cleaner or brake cleaner.

Seems to work for me. flush with detergent and water.

This would be dangerous in an enclosed space, but I have done this out in the open concrete driveway. just pour a little gasoline directly on to the automatic transmission oil stain. Then pour a little clay type cat litter on the mess, and grind it in with the sole of your shoe. Keep grinding until the cat litter is like dust. Sweep it up, and repeat. This will completely remove all trace of the oil if repeated enough times. The gasoline will bring up the old soaked in oil and it will absorb into the cat litter dust.

I had an old company 75 chevy van that leaked transmission fluid all the time on my driveway, and I have done this trick many times. Don't use much gas, and keep the gas can far far away before you start grinding on the cat litter with your shoe. I have never had a fire, but there is always some danger when you mess with gasoline. Do small amounts of surface area at a time and use small amounts of gasoline. It always worked for me. You can call the safety police now and tell them to 10-25 and return to base.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING !!

My front entrance to house has a portico covering 2 cars from weather. For a few summers I have used one side to park my Mahindra 4110 and mower out of weather.
NO problem till this year. Last fall, had to split tractor in half to do transmission repair. Now leaks Hytran on concrete, Since the concrete is collared brownish it doesn't look real bad.
But, wife is not real happy. However, my seat has stayed dry all summer. Since folks coming to my house this year, I have strategically parked my Exterra over the oil stains.
I just parked tractor today in garage. Mower cleaned, greased and parked for winter.

Any suggestions how to clean the oil up? It's all Hytran oil. It's crazy, Only had to replace about 1/2 gallon of fluid whole summer season. A little oil spreads a lot.
My concrete was dyed in the concrete truck. Color is all through, not painted. Hasn't been sealed for about 5 yrs. I wonder if oil eats through sealer? Maybe I should have
sealed yearly? Also, had one big stain when gas line was leaking on a visitors car. I never realized gas would do that? Road salt dripping from car causes
damage too.

May you all have a great thanksgiving day. Hoping today will lead to better days ahead for all, right into the New Year!!

Cheers......Coffeeman

I sprinkle clay cat litter on the oil and oil stains then grind it in with my foot. Let it sit for a spell, sweep it up then use some oil eater or other detergent to get the remaining residue up. It usually works well enough for me. The powder from the ground cat litter helps blend it with the concrete too.

I do the same as Dick and James just mentioned. I change a lot of fluids in my garage and some usually gets on the floor. I have had success with oil absorb and the cheapest cat litter you can buy. Put some on the floor and grind it in with your foot. Sweep the litter back and forth over the stain then grind it in again. Sometimes I'll leave it sit on the stain overnight and sweeping up the next day the stain is gone.
I also tried using a mixture of Dawn dish soap and water. That works too but takes longer to dry.

I've had good luck by spreading portland and cement over oil stains and grinding it in with my shoe. Let it set a few days and sweep away. If needed, repeat.

Ya gotta understand, some of these home remedies merely color the stain so it's not as noticeable. :)

Brake parts cleaner is what I use on my plain concrete garage floor for any kind of oil stain. Has never failed to work. Spray, wait five seconds, and give a nice one way wipe (like you would a squeegee) with a shop towel. Even old stains come out. Can't re-use the towel much. Quite amazing actually, and cheap. I don't know the effects on dyed concrete but I'd guess not much.

But, wife is not real happy.
Assuming you looked into getting another wife and decided against that solution.....
Try 1 part hand cleaner and 1 part laundry soap.
you're welcome
