Oil & Fuel Oil Strainer

Yes Vistan, I realize it says it in the manual. The manual lists several things to do on the 50 hr. service yet it does not mentioned the recommended 50 hr. oil change which in my opinion is the most important.

When continuing to improve different aspects of a unit it may be hard at times to keep up with all the information within the manuals though.

Oh? Mine says change engine oil and filter at 50. I was just pointing out that it also says two other things: tranny oil strainer and power steering filter ... but also that if the tranny oil strainer has been done away with on newer models, it'd be nice if someone could get us the serial number cut off point (and for those before that point some info on where it is and how to service it).

If they did away with the strainer, there should be a tech bulletin stating that...BobG in VA
