Oil & Fuel Oil Type

I have a TS1910 and need to change the oil. The manual that I have does not tell me what kind or weight oil to use. What type and weight should I use?

My owners manual says to use either 20wt or 10w-30 diesel rated when the ambient temp is below 70-deg.F. When above 70-deg., use straight 30-wt. diesel service rated. However, I think most people these days use the 20w-40 Rotella, etc. Anyway, that's what the '70's-80's issue owners manual says for your model.

I've always used Rotella 15w-40 in all my diesels...trucks, tractors, etc.
