I've read here before to mark the hoses, but darned if I didn't forget to when I changed attachments. Was just too keyed up about those first attachment changes. That quick connect is kinda brilliant.

Thanks again,
Jim

I went through all my implements that use the locking circuit (all 2 of them) and switched the connectors around so that each device had a male and female. Never get them mixed up again... I was fortunate cause the devices were third party and I did not have to spend any money on new adapters (they were built with Male Female) It was just my locking mechanism that needed changed...

My "nob" must be defective, seems one time it's at 1 o'clock...then around 6 o'clock and then 3 o'clock on the wheel...hmmmmmm LOL!

For some reason mine does that too. ;) I also have the 8-Ball knob. Other than that, I have never had a problem with it works like a charm.

That's because when you turn the wheel the nob goes with it.:D

If you have secured the spinner to the steering wheel , it will remain in that physical position on the steering wheel, Unlike a spinner on a car or truck, which has a direct relationship from the steering to the wheel position. When I turn the steering on my truck, it will come back to the straight ahead position, and I have set mine at the 9 o-clock position. The steering circuit on the PT is hydraulic operated, and does have some slip, and could very well be in a position other than where you think it should be. No biggy, just grab it and steer as normal unless you want to reset it every time. I can turn mine in a complete circle if I try very hard. You may think it should stop when turned to the extreme right or left, but some if not all those steering wheels will turn past the stop position. If it were a perfect system with no leakage, it would come back to the same position every time. That is just how it is.

I thought mine stayed very close to where I set it on the steering wheel. After going out and checking. Your right, it is in a different postion. Guess I never really payed that much attention. I always thought is was where I left it most of the time.

The nob position was only a statement in jest....but it is funny how many times I blindly reach for it based on where I think it should be.....and it isn't!

Ya, I thought you were joking around, but after J.J. said that’s just how it is. I went out and checked. Dam if it wasn't in a different place. Guess I never really noticed it before. No biggie it still does a great job.

Now that I am finally getting some hours and practice on the PT, and with the help of my suicide knob. It's really becoming one fluid motion using the levers in concert with back dragging, backing up and whipping around with this machine. It's finally starting to feel like a well tuned machine. The more I use it the more it becomes second nature.

I don't know what I would do with out my PT. If I could have afforded a 425 at the time. I would have gotten one, but I have (Never Regretted) buying the 180. Some may look at it as just a base model, but I know it’s a fact, this it is a serious working tool, that has already paid for its self over and over again.

It’s made my life a 100% easier around here. I am still amazed at what it can do. My landscape is now starting to take shape and the summer is just beginning. One of these days I may move up to a 422 or 425 of course the one I really want would be the 1430. If I can talk the wife into it that may be the one I get. In the mean time, I just ride around with this silly grin on my face every time I get it out and use it. :D:D
