Newbee I gotta give you credit. Lots of guys on here research every purchase half to death then worry if they did all right. You jump and get some rig and then ask about it! You probably get more done for less cost than lots of us researchers!

A note for you about your tach. There's a place called Southern Electronics in West Verginia that repairs tachs. John Deere wanted $1190 for a new tach for my 2240. Sothern Electronics repaired both my tach and hour meter for $175, including shipping both directions and a one year warrenty. You might check them out.
