In that case, when it happens i just put a good rag around the tip and push or knock it let's say to the subframe ........
but in 2 years and 500 hours, i had to do it maybe two times
I remove/install backhoe very often , at least a few times a month
Maybe mounting and dismounting frequently makes it less likely that pressure builds up on one side. Perhaps with longer storage, having the stabilizers slowly leak down raises pressure on one side. I'm not sure of the hydraulics in that situation but know that I have certainly had release pressure more than two times over the past few years.
I wouldn't imagine knocking the tips on the subframe is any different than tapping them with a hammer.
