yea them rangers have a nice smooth ride.

I was really impressed with the Ranger Crew. I still don't like the plastic bed, but there is nothing else on the market that is close. I guess if the bed turns out to be a piece of crap we could build a metal one for it.

you could always make an aluminum insert to slide inside it for when you do some rock hauling or other sharp objects.aluminum would be light enough to handle that way it wouldn't be a problem to slide it in and out when needed plus it won't rust.just a sugestion i'm not putting down your ride !!

No offense taken. If I am hauling ugly stuff - I will use a front end loader. The biggest issues I see is with the tailgate. I heard they put a metal stiffener in the tailgate on later models. It might not be an issue but back when I bought my Gator one of the biggest reasons I did not go with the Ranger was the cheezy bed.

no you ain't buying ugly stuff the ranger looks pretty goodit's just the beds are plastic . i do alot of hauling of broken cement and to me the bed wouldn't hold up to long i would put some sort of bed linner inside of it other than that the ranger has everything else covered.

Man I love the plastic bed on mine, that's one of the reasons i bought it. That is some tough heavy stuff on the new crews and it'll never rust long term like the steel ones. I think that bed will haul anything it's rated weight wise.

i'm sure it will hold the load i'm just saying if you throw bricks and sharp objects into it they will eventualy start to cut into the plastic .

I would think it should still hold up unless you are "throwing" bricks into the bed. But you could always have it Rhino lined which should look pretty cool!

I rhino lined my gator bed. It is the way to go. Did the floorboards also. It is good stuff.

We will see how the plastic bed holds up. Since I have other things to move nasty stuff - I bet it holds up Ok.

No big issue, but we have centered it when crossing terraces. Not bad enough to get stuck, but you can feel it hit and drag across the top. Maybe it needs center idler wheels........:D

you may need to have a setup like them hummer's do where you can let air out the tires from inside and then put air back into them after you cross .i guess thats the next thing they will put on the utv's is them self inflating tires.i always carry a air compressor and a jack ever sinse i blew a tire out going through a rut.
