This is only 1 little piece of the kid puzzle in life. I've watched my relatives kids or friends of my kids come over and eat with their hands, not wash after going to the restroom, not brushing their teeth and on and on.

It all comes down to how people raise their kids. If the child wasn't told to stop doing this then how would he know better?

I've always told the kids while your in my house we do or don't do this....and tell them what you expect. I would be a little less disappointed in the child and more disappointed in the parent.

I am fortunate that he visits very rarely, you see, he's from the other side of the mountain, you know Nevada. It works out pretty good that way to because come Christmas time when his mom always wants to come over so everyone one can plan what to make and bring and do, the mountain passes are closed by snow so they have to cancel.

Now it was mentioned that at least he's not putting it on the couch. That thought crossed my mind, but it also conjured up others and what else he might be parting with that could freak me out. I don't want to think about it anymore.

Is bleach safe to use on leather?

RaT I must say I'm a little more than disapointed. I'm guessing opening up a steamy deer chest on a cool morning would not be pretty. As I learned from a CSI episode...not sure of its true but it does work. Smiling reduces the gag effect. I walked into our weekend place after 2 weeks and the power was out. Meat, fish, maggots, etc, and I didn't get the power on until morning...and it was summer. I just smiled a lot! Note to others, I now put stuff in the freezer in a baggie. no smell from the bagged stuff.

Nothing wrong with a little boger eating, they'll grow out of it. Heck no one says anything about sucking a thumb. We all know how kids keep their hands clean and never touch any other part of their body.

And the most accepted of them all...the dog kiss. Ok maybe a dogs mouth is cleaner than ours...but not right after a 5 minute butt and genital lick. C'mon people, I'll take my own boger over that dog lick any day!! We have a female mini daushund, I don't think she can even reach!!

Of course the dog could be copraphagic as well and then wants share. Cow manure, hoof trimmings, yeah just a few things. Do not even get me started on cats!

There is nothing like a little nose mining, esp when get one of those that feel like it is coming from the back part of the skull and opens up a whole new sinus cavity. Kind of makes you hope the kid washes his hands really well before ingesting. Kind of like some that where their pants down to their thighs. You KNOW that underwear is going to be clean. Showing them is one thing but noone is cool with skid mark!!

Cheer up, things could be worse. So i cheered up, and sure enough things got worse!!!
