Ok to weld work light mount to ROPS?

With all this Imagineering available I am tempted to ask a tangential question;
Anyone found a stake pocket stamping that could be used as a bracket that would fit around 2x2 square steel tubing ?
I guess it is 2x2 inside, probably 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 ouside.

Never seen them sold, But we use to weld or bend our own...Any welding / machine shop could do it for short $

I asked that in a dumber than dumb moment, which occur all too frequently these days, I guess it becomes a continuum eventually (-:

Squared off U bolts are the most reasonable answer to my question.

I installed a set of warning lights on a gravity wagon, using Stainless hose clamps.
It looked nice, was easy to do and was easily removed,yet really sturdy
----then there is always Duct tape Ha,LOL!
