That little yellow dipstick is your hydraulic fluid level. The B3300 is the same as the B3200, but with out the mid pto, larger tires, and 33 horsepower versus 32 hp. IT is a 4 cylinder and is an interim tier 4. They fiddled with the timing to reduce pollutants, and there are no pollution controls other than the timing change, that I am aware of. I really liked my B3200. When cold, it would cough and idle rough when first started. If I held the glow plugs on, after the engine started, it would run smooth with out all the drama of a cold start.:dance1:
I was hoping that was hydraulic dip stick you've made things a lot clearer for Me.so if I plug the tractor in before I run in the cold will it have smoother start ups?

FWIW and I'm sure every machine is slightly different; I never had a problem with cold starts. The only time l had a problem was at -13deg Fahrenheit when my desiel gelled. I diid not have a block heater either (but your dealer might have installed one). The glow plugs were sufficient for me.
Just my experience with an 'n' of one.

I'm sure you will get smoother starts with plugging in.

My old 1910 used to start very smooth. Then the pump blew a seal a few years ago. The rebuilt pump coughs and idles rough. I also have to hold the glow plugs on. When I complained to the rebuild guys they said they have to meet EPA standards now. I could change the timing but I have not messed with it.

Plugging in below 30 is almost required to start now.

Still a MUCH better option than tier 4 final.

My old B8200 Kubota (an '87 model) was in fine shape, but a beast to start when the temperature fell. A block heater fixed that. My newer L3130 would start easily when cold, using just glow plugs (being a Grand L, it determined when they had been on long enough) and our newest, an L3400, also starts quickly with just a touch of glow plugs. Don't know what the changes are, but I am not complaining.

Minus 13 is going to be a problem for diesel, so I would expect to need a block heater, or better yet, a protective shelter + a block heater. Oh, and a cab!

Thanks for everyone's input on my b that's coming dealer installs block heater and beet juice on all their tractors with a loader .i also put a battery tender on all my stuff .my 3 cylinder bx always would start with just glow plugs , but sounded much better with a short plug in in cold temps. Run out plug her in , make coffee drink it, run out start it, come back in get dressed while its idling ...perfect
