Ok, what\'s up with this??

Hey guys,
Check out this listing on ebay. It says its a L2600DT, which I am not familiar with. It is listed for 1 day only, but I can't find anything sending off warning bells. Only one bid and it seems like a nice set up.

Maybe some else can see something I'm not. Here is the link.

Well for 1 thing if you look at what he/she has sold that gives off clues. And the seller is from the U.K. To me it sounds like a scam.

He says he is from Mi., but you are right, everything he purchased is from the UK. Could be something fishy here /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Look at the transmission stats:
"Transmission Type: Hydrostatic " (up top)

then farther down:
"Sliding gear and constant mesh transmission. With 8 forward and 2 reverse gears"

Thats no good.

I don't know much about ebay, but the fella looks legitimate and apparently has no reserve. It could be a real steal as long as the steal works from your end. I could see bidding $10K on it if the shipping was in there.

Pre-approved bidders only is usually one of the signs of a scam.

Its the strangest thing. That pre-approved bidder thing was not on the listing at first. I wonder if they can add things like that once the bidding starts. Also, I did not see he was from the UK at first as the location says MI, United States but then says he has been a registered member from the UK...definitely something fishy, don't you think?? /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Just above the picture it reads seller added information 10 minutes ago. I would definitely stay away from this one /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
