Okay, I've just about quit selling hay!

I swear I want to get a Tee-shirt custom made that says "when selling baled hay, watch out for the FLAKES". Most Hay sellers would appreciate the quote and the real snooty "is it Horse Hay?" types wouldn't get it anyways. I've had more time wasters call and never show up. I've have repeat customers that take nearly every thing I grow so I'm probably not going to advertise anymore. Anyone else want to order a shirt? bjr

bjr, evening.... Was that a lady that came to buy your hay ??? If so, I think she came to my place.... Asked if it was good alfalfa... I said it was the best in the county.... she said, It can't be because "Billy Bob" has the best alfalfa in the county... I said, You had better buy from BB then... she said I can't because he quit selling hay 3 years ago.... I said then mines the best..... Then she wanted to know if it was "horse hay".... I said yes.... she said "how do you know"... because I sold to horse folks all the time.... Then she wanted to know if the flakes were exactly 5#'s.... I said "why".... she said "because her horses had to have exactly 5# flakes for a good diet"..... I pointed to the road and told her Time for you to leave and don't you ever come back to my place".... she got all huffy and looked at me like I insulted her....

Sorry 'bout not answering faster. I've been off work (vacation) and that was my only way to get into my email account. I came in over xmas to check my accounts and seen your post. It might have been a different lady but the same results. Anyways have a pleasant holidays. I busy tryin' to finish out my basement, electrical, and it has been kinda spendy, but I'm almost ready to start dry wall. What you been doing to keep busy this winter?
