If it is just a little stale (6-8months old) and shows no contamination, I would just pour it in my truck tank. A little oil in the fuel will lub the top end a bit and mixing it with fresh gasoline is not going to cause any ignition problems. With not more than a gallon of mix, you likely wont see any evidence of it in a full tank. I wouldnt put it in my diesel tractor tank. Even with a little oil in the gasoline, it is still a long way from being diesel.
