Thanx for the pictures Bigun. Some weekend when you have time and want to spend money you should make a trip up to Silver Dollar City. They have an old Steam powered Case there that still runs. Plus a lot of other equipment I you should enjoy seeing.

I saw a steamer like this just last week. It was fired up and running. Steam engines are still used in this area to steam tobacco beds in the spring. Steam is used to kill weed seeds in the soil before planting the tobacco seedlings.

Well, if they do I didn't see them. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif There are plenty of Canadian geese around ponds close to where I live though.

That would be interesting. I have heard there is a farm show with steamers held in this area during the spring. Do you know when and where?
