They are the same manual different publishing dates. The 1997 manual is like new. The 1981 manual is in really good shape especially considering it is 20 years old. I'll get back to you on a price later today or tomorrow.
Ric, I checked into the prices for these manuals and they are still available from Kubota the L175 parts manual is $28.00 and the L245DT parts manual is $30.58 these are new printings and take about 3 weeks to get. Unless you want the original printings, that would be the way to go. I did happen to find a spare L175 parts manual also (1978 printing).
I am specifically looking for an L175F or T Service manual. I have an Operators and Parts Manual for the L175. I would consider either the Kubota version of this manual or the Intertec K1 version. My experience with original Kubota and Intertec manuals has been mixed with the Intertec manuals having the slight edge over the Kubota manuals. I am interested a L245DT Parts Manual. I have the Operator and Service Manual for the L245DT, in fact both the Kubota and Intertec versions, again with the Intertec manual being slightly better reference document. If the L245DT Parts manual is still available from Kubota I will call them tomorrow and have them re-check this as they were the ones who stated they no longer were available. Thanks, ric
