- 1993 NH 2120 (the best), 1974 MF 135 (sold, but solid), 1947 Farmall A (bought, sold, bought back, sold again), 1956 MH50 lbt (sold, in 1980, darn it)
Hello all. I usually post over in NH but this is for a friend. He bought a nice-shape L275DT, no loader, 900 hours, sight unseen. Also bought a Bush Hog SQ160, almost new, from another dealer. The service mgr at the Kubota dealer who serviced the tractor and shipped it to him said the Squealer was too much mower for that tractor and would stress his PTO clutch. This is an older Kubota with the shuttle lever next to the main shift lever, not up by the steering wheel.
The manual says this machine can handle a 650# brush hog up to 6' wide, so I say his tractor can handle his mower. The squealer is 650# and 5' wide. My friend is mechanically hopeless. What do you all think? He'll be mowing grass only, pretty much, about 7 acres rolling, 3-4 times a year.
Thanks, Jim
