Well after 25 manure spreader loads on the fields Sat... I tried to cut the smell down for the neighbor's by plowing it all under.
I was plowing for a while and having trouble..one of the plows tips had broken off. I thought I keep going.. but after one plows re-tripped.. it wouldn't lock back. One of the inner "trip" pieces had broken.
Well this plow is a McCormick International 520 Moldboard Plow.. I did find they started manuf. them around 1962.. any chance of finding parts.. I already removed the piece and called the local guy that does some welding for me. I've only seen a few plows that are similiar.. did see a 530(3 bottom) in searching for old iron.
Anyone have any sources for trip-plow parts?
