Thanks for the info.

I finally got time today to work on the disc again. Got the rusty bolts removed from the bearing/bushing assemblies.

The nuts were rusted. Hit them a few times with PB Blaster over a 7-day period. Got one of those GatorGrip universal sockets ($20 from Sears, 1/2" drive, 1-1/4" capacity). Had to trim the corners of the 1" square nuts to get the socket to fit. Then some tugging with a ratchet/cheater got them free. I borrowed a 1" impact socket from my neighbor as backup in case that fancy socket didn't work.

As expected, the bushings are dry as dust.

The discs look like standard 20" dia units. Plan to replace 3 of the worn discs on that gang.

Any suggestions on cleaning up those bushings is appreciated.

Drop the bushings/bearings in a bucket of gas and let it sit for a while, then scrape 'em out with a screwdriver. If any of the bearing blocks show wear, I think you can reverse top for bottom. The holes should all line up, you might have to drill a new grease pipe hole, if the other block doesn't have one.:D
