The plane looks like it may be an old Mig, so I'm guessing it's an eastern bloc tractor.

That photo has appeared in a previous TBN thread. The make of the tractor was resolved, but I only remember that it was English.

I couldn't locate the TBN thread, but the tractor is a Fordson Super Major. according to Fear of Landing – The Story Behind an Unbelievable Photograph. I don't know whether that ID is correct.

He's got his wheels down for landing, but at that angle, it's going to be a rough one.

Looks to be a Mig 17. Hope his chute opened in time.
Tractor is probably a clone. A lot of cloning was going on in the USSR back then.
Seems strange someone was photographing at that particular time. At least it was in focus as opposed to the UFO photos.

He's got his wheels down for landing, but at that angle, it's going to be a rough one. I'm just guessing, but that looks like a French Mirage in French livery. I believe that Israel and India both used the Mirage at different times.
