I'm old enough to remember trucks without AC, quarter panel windows, and floor board vents. It was hot, and loud, but there was a ton of air flow. Fans where a thing then too. You could aim them at the windshield for defrosting or on your face to cool you.

My Kioti CK3510 cab has AC. But sometimes I just want a good fan in that aquarium cab. Has anyone tried what is currently on the market? I'll post a screenshot of what the 'zon says my top 5 picks are. Thinking about installing one and doing some lighting improvements as we transition to shorter days. One thing I don't like about this particular cab is there is no way to run with the windows open on a nice Fall day like I did today in my excavator.

I have one for my class c to blow cold AC air from the cab vents to younger occupants in the back. Works great plugs into cigarette lighter screwed bracket to dash also can oscillate. If it's cold back there turn the cab heat on with similar results. Sure beats firing up the gen set while your driving to run roof top ac. It definitely makes the motorhome tolerable back there especially driving in the hot humid south when opening windows isn't a good option either. I'll get you pics What I got tomorrow if your interested. It was a cheaper one I picked-up at a truck stop I think.

Truck stop, good idea! There are a couple about 40 miles away. I could go shop around there.

I had one in the L3200 but don't remember the brand. My guess is that there isn't a ton of difference between them. Mine was a 2-speed and didn't oscillate. It was mounted to the frame in the front right corner. It was mostly used in hot weather with the doors removed. It didn't do anything to help with dust and pollen but being out of the sun and having air moving was more comfortable than when it was open station.

I have a fan in my Massey 20C to move air in it. I had bought a roadmaster 3700 fan and it was junk, if you tried to adjust the fan while it was running the guard was so flimsy it would bend into the fan blades. I now have a Prime Products and it is marginally better. The best fans are made by Bergstrom, Phillips and Temro, and Maradyne but they cost more money than the normal truckstop affair.

I was considering one for my Toro Workman cab, and if I went thru with it, it would come from Love's Travel Centers. However, I figured out that the "heater" fan blows a lot of air, and if you don't move the temperature, you get ambient air thru the dash vents, which are adjustable in direction. The reason for Love's, is my company prefers, to close to mandate that I buy fuel at Love's. They have it set up that I get 4 cents per gallon in points, so with the amount of fuel their tractor trailer uses, I always have plenty of points to spend.
