Older L series, 2650 and 2550

Can someone explain the differences between the L2650 and the L2550? According to tractordata.com, they look like the same machine. The kubota does not list the 2550 on the prior products page. The sheetmetal is very different.

I would like to know the years the tractors were produced: If there are current owners of either tractor, please let me know.
