Local to me there are 2 large MF's for sale. One is a 1100? listed by the seller ( a mf dealer, agco, farmtrac.. etc.. cub.. ) as 110 hp. There is also a 1150? down the road.. owner says 150 hp.

Both units are fairly compact and brute-ish looking.. not large like say a case or ford of the same hp.

Both are in the 7-9$ k range.

Any comments on these models? pro / con?

Never sold anything that large, but have worked on a 1150. Back in their "hay-day" these units sold fairly well. The 1150 we worked on seemed like a well thought out machine and sounds like the price is fair for something that large. Not an expert on these machines by any stretch of the imagination, just sharing my experience with them, or one of them anyway.

Hope this helps.

Price wise I cant help you but we ran a 1100 for about 5 years this is a stout ,strong tractor with alot of options that were ahead of there time. We used it for working ground making hay and bush hogging.
The only reason we traded it was too get a tractor that was easier to haul .
