I bought my 3510 on memorial day, and just found the tool box this week, when I stepped on it and thought there was a weak spot in the floor. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

My 4110 has the same "toolbox" under the mat near the clutch pedal, but I needed a little more. I bolted a 50 cal. military ammo box to the sheet metal right above the fuel tank, above the hitch, when my tractor was new and it's done great for 3 1/2 years. The ammo can has a rubber gasket on the lid and is 100% waterproof, and I can reach it from the seat while operating the tractor and get my smokes out. It holds a few pairs of pliers, screwdrivers, 12" adjustable wrench, and a short crowbar, rags etc. Fantastic out in the field changing attachments etc. I keep spare pins, shear bolts, bungees etc. in the floor toolbox. You can usually get these ammo cans for next to nothing, $4 or $5.

yep, its right there... i'd felt the floor give a little there too, but i just thought it was a little weak spot... i'm a big guy...

its not big enuff for a lot... i usually need at least a half-socket set, a hammer, assorted open ended wrenches and/or a wrecking bar... (for attitude adjustments *grin*)

i may paint an ammo box mahindra red and install it as was suggested earlier...

thanks guys...

With my 3510 with FEL, I bought a 19" red tool box by Husky, bolted it on the right side foot step (can't use the step anyway because of the FEL joy stick) Used plywood for the full area of the tool box, then bolted the plywood onto the step. Carry chain, wrenches, hammer, you name it. Works perfect for me. Also complained about no room for a tool box, using the step was my wife's idea.
