I sure do know how that goes, I've seen the deer on their hind legs cleaning my peach trees dry of fruit. But that's the way it is in nature, since we're in their back yard the wildlife has to enjoy the good things of life as we do!

So, I bought both the sprayer and the rachet rake and even though I've not put them to good use I'm happy with both of my purchases thus far. Tomorrow I'll put in some seat time and report back.

My pleasure crbr! But while asleep last night many thoughts popped into my mind. So, I may install the sprayer on my little Yanmar to free up the IH's FEL for heavier use. Plus the Yanmar's little so it'll be easier to manouver around the property and the trees. As soon as I finsih the install, today, I'll post pics.

BTW, I've not used the rachet rake yet but so far I'm impressed with its heft and quality of fabrication.

Just be careful about amperage pull on the yanmar. Don't run the lights and pump at the same time until you have your amps confirmed.

I decided to mount the sprayer onto the front of my 4-wheeler, as this initial mix is not heavy enough to present a problem. I only poured 4 gallons of water/Sevin mix this time around, to try things out so to speak, this evening.

Woodland, I don't expect the pump to draw enough current to become an issue, as shown in the pic it's powered by a cigarette lighter connection. But I can always run the 4-wheeler, while spraying, if need be.

Well gang, I finally sprayed all non-blooming trees and the grapevines with 3 out of the 4 gallons of Sevin mix. It worked out as expected, all spray where it belongs and non on me. I LOVE my new sprayer get-up, thank you all for leading me through this project!

The rachet rake has proven to be an A1 product! I just got through leveling my parking are/25 yard pistol range. Couldn't recommend it more.

Can't quite tell it from these pics but this area was in pretty bad shape, between the erosion and the sand stones protruding all over the place.

It seems I've gotten lucky. I have about 6 apples growing per apple tree and more blooms are forming. These two recent Walmart trees have sure proven worthy of attention and care.

I guess we'll be eating home grown apples this year, a first for us! I wish I could share with you.
