My wife doesn't use the tractor now, it's a team effort tho -she cleans the flower beds & I haul the stuff to the compost pile then deliver material to top dress the beds for winter.

Don't think I could get her on the FEL with me in the driver seat with the platform I made, it would need dif construction and a cage to make it safe to use that way.

If you already have a platform and the cage is removable it's easy to add the side sheets and back to make a box like this.

I take it tree trimming is a two person operation, you positoning and shes' cutting - sounds like good teamwork!!

Interesting question, Neil.

It's true that there is someone else living on our property now, so we are not truly alone when we go up. The previous caretaker frequently took advantage of our visits to go off and do something for the weekend since we would be there to take care of the pets 'n' stuff.

We are now entering into a new situation, having this young family there, so we'll just have to see how it goes. So far we like them well enough that it'll be sorta like going to visit with friends, which ain't so bad. Hadn't thought much about the privacy angle, so I guess it's not much of an issue for us at this point.

I'll keep you posted, maybe even post some pictures (either here or on CBN) to help tell the story.

These things will work out in time. It will take several months to get to know your patterns and they yours. Then after that I suspect clear and smooth sailing for the long term from your comments posted on CBN.
