Three weeks ago I did some shredding at my place and parked the 1925 back in the barn, turned off the key and went home. Last weekend I went to fire it up and there was nothing - no glow plug light, no sound like it was trying to start, nothing. I thought that maybe I'd left the lights on or key in the "on" position and ran the battery down, so I removed it from the chassis and brought it home. When I hooked the charger up to it, it seemed fully charged. I went ahead and "topped it off", then took it back out today. By the way, this battery is less than 6 months old.)
I hooked everything up and zippo, nada. I cleaned the terminals on battery and cable. I cleaned where the ground bolts to the chassis, and i checked the 30 amp fuse near the starter. Again, nothing. What's strange is, I can't even get the headlights to come on! I mean, it's as if I have no battery, yet it shows fully charged. Any thoughts as to what else to look for? many thanks.
