You beat me to it, Scott. Dr. Pepper RULES! It's the only soft drink (or soda, or pop depending on where you're from) that both the regular version and the diet version taste even remotely similar. Both diet versions of those other 2 brands taste like wet newspapers! /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif

Scott - I never knew Coke or Pepsi had tongues/w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif!! I'm guessing anteaters taste pretty good...... they have really long tongues. I've heard anteaters sometimes form unions to make more anteaters/w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif. Chuck

I don't drink coffee either(sorry Pete!), I get my caffeine from cola. I prefer diet coke, but at work we only have pepsi in the machines. I got a bottle of diet pepsi on my desk here now. Still trying to wake up!!

I heard somewhere that Pepsi is formulated to be sweeter and appeal to a younger crowd. Remember "The Pepsi Generation" ads? "New Coke" was Coca Cola's attempt to develop a product to compete in that space.

Regular VS Diet: I think it is an acquired taste. 20 years ago I couldn't stand diet coke. Then I ran out of holes in the belt and decided to make an effort to switch. Now I can't stand the sweetness of the regular stuff. I am starting to get concerned about the sweetner though - I keep hearing mumblings that it is bad for your brain. Of course, in my case, that might not matter anymore...
