Brad, did you ever use Coke on your windshield? That's something I learned as a rookie cop. In rainy weather, if your windshield has that "road film" that makes it a bit hard to see even with the wipers going (especially at night), just pour a Coke across the top of the windshield with the wipers going; takes that road film off better and quicker than anything I know of.

Fond memories of Sunday mornings after church and visiting Gramps and he always opened a bottle of "DAD's" Root Beer for us kids to share. That was about as much POP as we got as a kid. Dad always treated us with HiC. and that wasn't too often.

Always liked A&W Root Beer, Royal Cown Cola, Dr Pepper.

And, between Pepsi and Coke, I always liked Pepsi because the Pepsi delivery man (Andy) in my home town always gave us kids samples when we chased him down. One day he was turning a corner on main street and went over a curb and a bunch of cases of bottles fell off his truck. We helped him sweep the mess up from the brick street and he never forgot it........ Tom

I 'spose someone has to mention Moxie - I dislike it, but like to watch "visitors" choke it down as part of their Maine experience. It tastes good as long as you don't stop drinking it, then it finishes with a bitter aftertaste.

Now that I actually read this thread before voting for Coke, I need to say good old Canada Dry Ginger Ale is what I always fill up a glass with when considering an assault on a pile of Chinese, or plain old chicken wings. Great grease cutter, and not as sweet as the colas.
