Is this a mature buck in your area? He looks really nice with a ton of potential. Here in Texas, we have antler restrictions and they have to be wider then their ears to be legal to shoot. I don't think this would be a legal buck here. It's too close to be sure, so I would have to let it pass if his twin showed up at my place.

He has a youthful appearance to me. I don't know how to tell age on them but some have wider antlers than others.

I traded my gun for a camera over 30 years ago so they all get a pass on my property. I love to watch them and I can afford groceries.

I did my share of hunting growing up and in my younger days. I have nothing against it I just don't choose to hunt any longer.
