My guess also that it’s be remodeled and added onto and that’s the result. That stuff would bother me some and if my wife was looking at the house it would be a no go.

I'm not sure how much "basement" value is there. According to the plan, we are looking at the second floor. The first floor, which I assume is the basement if it's not on stilts, is only 385 square feet, about 20 x 20. That's why I thought it was actually on stilts. We usually don't call the ground floor Floor 2 and the basement Floor 1. I wonder if anyone can find a picture.
