Your right, didn't work. I had tried that one. The FEL just sank even when flat. Wouldn't pick the front end up, just gave me more resistance. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif BTW, that was with the MMM all the way "up" The tractor had sunk that much, I believe w/o the MMM it would sunk even more.

I gotta teach her though, that if she is going to get it stuck, do it good so that the neighbor's tractor has trouble pulling it out. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

you don't think the MMM was part of the reason it got stuck in the 1st place?

I don't really think so, other than the edge where the tractor had sunk, the rest of the deck was actually up off the ground - close but off. Now had it been a RFM may have been able to lift it up and provide leverage, but other than that don't think it would have changed anything.

Isn't that the truth, just a strange feeling of anxiety going to bed with a tractor buried somewhere. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Jim, when I look at that picture and the others, I can't help but think that your wife used really good judgement to just stop and leave the tractor where it was. I think we've all been stuck, but realizing you need help to get out and not burying the tractor is very important. She made the job of getting out much easier by just leaving it there. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I agree with that. At first I tried to talk her through using the diff lock. Maybe I wasn't describing how to use it the best, but she obviously didn't understand when she replied so get the wheel spinning and then step on the pedal /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif NNNNNOOOOOOO. /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif That was when I told her just leave it and I'll work on when I get home. It was actually a little bit of fun her getting it stuck for once after all of her comments to me, "Can't you do anything w/o getting stuck?" /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Just a side note to this, when we first moved to the property the drainage wasn't the best and I had a history of getting the truck stuck and now with the tractor I have a history of trying to bush hog close to the ditch on both side and it is funny how the grass would hold you up out of the water for a little bit and then all of a sudden the bottom lets go. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Glad to see you got her out Jim. Now if I was your wife I'd wait for a week and drive it back to the same place just to call you again and say "honey it's stuck again" /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Just kidding. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Have a good 4th of July Jim.
