One Toe Chickadee?

Am I seeing things, or does little guy only have one toe on the right side?

left side is grabbing the branch. Right side I can only see one toe sticking in the ice.

Looks to me like that foot is hanging off a branch out of veiw to me and that 1st metatarsal his hanging off that/on the ice.

Branch on the other side is to far away to grasp. If he did grasp it he would have used the whole foot.
