I guess anything, especially when I get to help my wife or a few of the neighbors. I like different things. I don't like doing the same thing all day. Such as brush hogging 3 acres that took me about 9 hours to do. Pretty rough land and very hilly and with lots of trees to go around. Kind of got boring.

Indydirtfarmer,

I had the greatest difficulty finding an answer to this simple question! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Then it finally registered! The answer is so clear now I don't know how I could not have seen it immediately!

ENOUGH! of your trick questions! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

There are no chores related to tractors. All chores relate to not having a tractor to help one with his chores!

Obviously, there is no correct answer to your question... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Were you ever a psycology professor at Purdue University? /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif I had one that would "question my answers" in much the same manner as you just did. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Running the backhoe!!!! For the most part it is one of the best stress relievers available (to me) and the feeling of acomplishment whether it's removing stumps or excavating. Bill C

I hate finish mowing but I don't mind hay mowing if things are working. Favorite so far is baling, followed by loader work, logging would be near the top too.

Not so keen on snowblowing, the 8 or 9 ft blower or whatever works well but I hate cranking around backwords and there is no sway lock on the 3 ph so the blower wanders side to side.

Cutting. Drivng over 2' tall grass and brush and seeing it disappear is very rewarding. Plus, the slight element of risk is nice---at any moment the shear bolt could blow, giving you the added opportunity to shave a few seconds off your best pit-stop time. And, what's best, you can make the cutting ops last as long as you want....

Mowing

I love pasture mowing but I really love finish mowing, mainly because it is less dusty, dirty and sweaty/filthy that pasture mowing. I love to grab a beverage, sit on the deck and look and admire my 4 hours work cutting the yard. It gives me a great deal of satisfaction. Same thing goes for pasture mowing once I get hosed off and cleaned up. The wife won't let me in the house otherwise.

Don't get me wrong, I like tilling, spraying, dragging logs and the rest, and I wouldn't swap my FEL for anything, but I just ... like ... to ... mow.

While I throughly enjoy using the loader, the backhoe, the brush hog, the finish mower, the grapple, tiller, 2-bottom plow, box-blade, and the disk are all a real plus for me.

But what I really enjoy more than any other implement is using the QA pallet forks coupled with the quick forward/backward motions possible with the HST for unloading semi's and moving inventory. Something about unloading big trucks easily with the help of the TC-40D and being able to set loaded pallets down and then pick them back up again really trips my trigger. I call it precision maneuvering, while my wife calls it horsing around.
