Ive had my tractor for about 2 weeks and have that many hours on it. How do you avoid using it?

I agree with all the other posters about changing oil.

If your not going to use it for awhile, just drain it and refill it the next time you are going to use it. That way you don't have the oil sitting in there. Looks like you live in a cold climate, just winterize it like you do your mowers and such until its used again. I'd personally be concerned about the fuel too, and I would check that filter as well.
