I was wondering...if you could have only five (5) attachments, what would they be. Lets assume your tractor has a FEL. Thanks for your ideas. Ken

/ Only 5 Attachments #2
Box blade,3 pt blade, brush mower, snow blade and if money were no object,back-hoe.

/ Only 5 Attachments #3
Backhoe, rotary cutter, box blade, landscape rake, phd.

I guess it would really depend on what you wish to do though, if you were planning to farm crops you would need plows and the like. But my list covers what I would use as a homeowner with a long project list. I have all but the rake and phd, and I can live without those for a while.

6 ft brush-hog, 7 ft disk, 2 x 14" plow, 2-row corn planter with fertilizer attachments, row crop cultivator. (#6 and #7 would be a 7 ft cultipacker and a 7 ft rear blade but I could get by without them, but I could not with any of the top 5. My family would starve without all the corn and venison that stuff provides).

Basically, what I have:

4) cultivator/disc hiller
5) carryall

If I needed a PHD, think I'd check rental price first.

Wow, only 5. Why?

Anyway... the top 5 would depend on what tasks you planned to do. if you were clearing out some brush they would be different than someone wanting to re sod a lawn. I want to do it all.

1) Brush Hog
2) Rear blade
3) PTO Tiller
4) Grapple forks
5) PTO Finish mower

Well, I couldn't resist. I may not end up with them top 5, it depends on what opportunity pops up first
6) Backhoe
7) landscape rake
8) Box Blade
9) Lawn roller
