Has anyone notice... Error Occurred While... at the top of the page?

Maybe I spilled to much coffee in the key board or the donut crumbs are piling up in the key boards./w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif/w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Thomas,
If your coffee and donuts did it, mine must have done it at the same time. Its been doing it since last night.

Hi Guys,

It looks like it's an error in the banner ad code. At least we get a vacation from banners, until Muhammad catches up to it (also, he doesn't get paid! Let's see how long it takes <g>).

I get that and also get something like "warning, you can use an offline version for browsing, connection has been lost.

Even though connection has NOT been lost, get that message no where but here! A speck of dust in the tractorbynet server?

Thomas,

We have a fix for this... will be fixed tomorrow, or Monday, at the latest. Thanks for noticing, though!

Well, here it is, the 28th, and I still have the error, it also takes hitting the back button in IE5.5 twice to return to the previous page. Maybe my Athlon is a little retarded and doesn't recognize the fix? No real problem, but I was wondering if anyone else had noticed the same thing! :~)

Nope, scruffy, I don't have to hit the back button twice on IE5.5 to return to the previous page, so don't know what might cause that. I've been having other problems lately, and then yesterday afternoon, no Internet service at all; couldn't dial in to my ISP. Don't know when the phone company got it fixed, but I know it was out from 1 p.m. until after 8:30 p.m. yesterday./w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif

Scruffy, I lied. Right after I posted this, I started to post another message, clicked "continue" to preview it, hit "back" to make a change, and discovered that I had to click the "back" button twice. Then I got to playing with it and found I have to click the "back" button twice on some other things, too.

With Internet Explorer, you'll usually have to hit the 'Back' button twice if you don't wait for the page to download completely. And if there's an error on the page, IE will often "think" it hasn't finished downloading yet.

We're not ignoring the problem. First trying to get it fixed, then trying to remove it. We had server routing problems for a couple of days and couldn't even remove the code. So today, hopefully we'll be able to get the code removed. Trust me, it is a priority.

Thanks, Muhammad, we know you're working on it.

On another note, you've obviously gotten the hardware problem fixed - the site has been smokin' the past couple days.

Lastly, thanks for providing the means for uploading pictures so easily. That's going to be the next revolution in members assisting one another, I predict.

Keep up the good work!
