"Buzz boxes have their place but they are limited, especially when requiring 220v power as wilfick pointed out with the 12kw generator to power his Lincoln. With the cost of the generator he has probably $1,400 invested so he can weld in the field, granted that the generator can be used for other things"
Pretty close. I think I remember it was like $1295, at Sam's Club.
I got it for the well, and the water heater, and the heat, but don't need that but two or three times a year. Welding keeps the gas fresh, and it's fun.
