Very nice, it looks well cared after for the amount of hours on it! I believe you said 950ish?

Yes 950 hours plus or minus. She will probably put that many on it annually. Looking at the manual, I was surprised that the engine oil change and hydraulic oil change intervals are so frequent -- 200 hours if I recall correctly.

The temps are pretty low already so she likes the soft cover

Very nice!!!! I change my oil and filter ever 50hrs, that might be overkill but that's what I do on both Kubotas..The Hydro stuff keeps bouncing around based on year...Some are higher than 200 hrs, they used top have you change everything at the first 50 hrs, now it's just hydro filters and engine oil & filter...Might want to give the vehicle specs to a Kubota dealer and ask their opinion.

Any particular reason you change your oil at 50h?

I'm about to do my first 50 hour engine oil and filter, trans filter change on my RTV-X1100C. I'll probably go ahead and change the trans oil, too. Since you have to drop the bottom skid plate to change the engine oil filter I'll probably go to a 100 hr engine oil and filter and trans filter change.

I used to do 50 hr oil changes on my 855D Gator but that was because it only held a little over 2 qts oil in the engine. I used Rotella T6 5w40 in the Gator. Probably just use the Kubota oil in my RTV for now.

Just received a new RTV-X900 and it seems to be everything I wanted in a work vehicle. The engineering is good and it is so much quieter than the Polaris Ranger 400 that I just sold - you can carry on a conversation in the cab without yelling! It tracks very well in the 10 inches of snow we just received and seems to sip fuel. I do wish Kubota made it easier to get a wiring schematic for these. I know they have a back-up beeper option so they must have wiring to support this option. I want to put in back-up lights and was hoping to use the back-up beeper wiring to set up a relay for back-up lamps. There are two connectors sitting empty right in the correct spot for a beeper, but they are "hot" when the key switch is on and are not affected by the shift lever.

It's not a wiring diagram, but if you go on Kubota's site you can pull up the parts diagrams. Under "Electrical System > B11000 SWITCh/RELAY" you can see the Reverse switch called out (No. 100). It looks like it's just behind the cab. That might be a good starting point to figure out the wiring. B10500 SWITCH/SENSOR actually shows the back up buzzer, but I can't really figure out where it shows it being located.

My daughter loves her RTV. She uses it 3 times a day every day. That soft cover is great. Her pastures are on top of a hill. It's very windy at times and it's been pretty cold. Of course, it will get much colder yet.
