opinions comparison performance large tracked bulldozers

Hi, if I can open the discussion on tracked bulldozers, what do you think of the large tracked bulldozers? I'm referring to the latest generation hydrostatic ones. Which is the most powerful, robust and reliable in your opinion? Caterpillar, Komatsu, Liebherr, John Deere or another brand. Thanks

Those dozers are going to burn more fuel in a week than the value of the average machine here. I think you’re in the wrong place.

Too weak, no real power, can’t push their way out of a wet paper bag. lol.

Also not nearly big enough.

Cat D11 probably has the best dealer and parts support worldwide

As to which one is best is probably like asking which tractor brand is better or which oil to use.

20+ years ago the mines buying the D11 frequently increased hp from factory to around 1200 HP so could push full blade of dirt around 5 MPH. No clue what do today but suspect still do. At that time they would move more dirt per hour than the larger Komatsu.
