I recently saw an advertisement somewhere for an air over hydraulic top link and was wondering if anyone has one and how they like it before I shell out the $250 for one. I would be putting it on a L3540 HSTC and was wondering how well constructed it is and if there are any down sides to this type of top link. I also don't know who makes it and if there are other manufactures. Thanks for any help.

You can search threads from the TBN sponsor... HydrauLink

TractorByNet.com

...but you have to make up your own mind about them. I would have to see one being used... or have a 30 day money back offer :confused2::ashamed: a couple of long threads pro and con

Plenty of reading and will agree you have to make up your own mind on this one, by the sounds of things they are working on a CAT II version and maybe a remote system for the guys with bigger tractors so its easier to adjust the valve, Id like to get one for mine but im gonna wait and see what they are working on cause its gonna be hard to reach the valve on the bigger tractors with and without cabs.

Thanks guys for the help. I didn't know the exact name for this top link before so I couldn't look it up easily on the internet. I looked it up on the manufactures web site now that I know the exact name for it, and they had some interesting short videos of it in use. I think I will be buying one soon.

I was reading up on road graders and I think one of these would all but be needed (or a hydraulic top link). Since they are a lot longer than a box blade and when in use they need to ride flat so I think they would need to float some.
